Registration Deadline: September 1, 2021

The 2021 Bivouac and National Cavalry Competition will be held at historic Fort Reno, OK, headquarters for the U.S. Cavalry Association, from Wednesday to Saturday, September 22 – 25. We look forward to seeing all members and competitors for this annual gathering.  We missed you last year!


Health Certificate and Coggins required.

Dry camping only at Fort Reno. No RV hookups or electricity available.

Host Hotel:

Fairfield by Marriott, 1501 Domino Drive, El Reno, OK 73036, $69 + tax – (405-295-1811). 

Identify yourself with the U.S. Cavalry Association for this special rate before August 31, 2021.

Thursday – Chuckwagon Dinner

Friday – Punchbowl Ceremony/Dinner and Silent Auction

Saturday – Chuckwagon Breakfast and Membership Meeting

                 – Dinner and Awards Presentation

Competition Events:

Wednesday: Wheeled Horse, Military Horsemanship and Major Howze Competition.

Thursday:  Combat Horsemanship and Mounted Saber.

Friday:  William Steinkraus Military Field Jumping and Paul Scholtz Mounted Pistol Competition.

Saturday:  Unit demonstrations, Bolté Cup Competition and Pass in Review.
