The 2024 Bivouac and National Cavalry Competition will be held at historic Fort Reno, OK, headquarters for the U.S. Cavalry Association, from Wednesday to Saturday, September 11 – 14. We look forward to seeing all members and competitors for this annual gathering.  

 

Health Certificate and Coggins required.

Dry camping only at Fort Reno. No RV hookups or electricity available.

Competition Events:

Wednesday: Wheeled Horse, Military Horsemanship and Major Howze Competition.

Thursday:  Combat Horsemanship and Mounted Saber.

Friday:  William Steinkraus Military Field Jumping and Paul Scholtz Mounted Pistol Competition.

Saturday:  Unit demonstrations, Bolté Cup Competition and Pass in Review.
