The U.S. Cavalry Association, a non-profit organization, will host its annual Bivouac and National Cavalry Competition September 27-30, 2023 at Fort Reno, OK. In conjunction with our event, we are trying to schedule a Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall to be on display at Fort Reno. The replica Wall is 8 feet tall and 350 feet in length with the names of 58,000 soldiers who died for our country during the Vietnam War. We will invite all veterans and community members to visit the display which will be free of charge.
The cost to have the wall transported, erected and on display is $10,500, and we are trying to raise funds to make this a reality. Any contributions would be a great help in meeting this cost; however, $100, $500 and $1000 contributions would help us meet our goal much sooner and confirm the visit of the Wall. Donations are tax deductible.
